Separately Managed Account Strategies (SMA) It is an account we manage on a discretionary basis. At Regency, SMA represents a one-on-one relationship between the client and the portfolio manager. A regency portfolio manager consults with each client to determine an appropriate investment mandate that fits the client’s specific objective and circumstances. we then construct a portfolio for the clients based on the relevant portfolio model described below:
- Growth (Equity) Strategies: This strategy is generally for clients whose principal objective is a long-term capital appreciation.
- Income Strategies: Generally for clients whose principal objective is the generation of current income from investment.
- Balanced Strategies: For clients with both capital appreciation and income generation objectives. We construct balanced portfolio drawing on our growth (equity) and income strategies with the percentage allocated to each tailored to client’s particular objectives, risk tolerance and financial circumstances.
